Austria, StarLink, and the end of the world!

Hello and welcome to our first episode that crosses time zones!

In the first half of this episode, we talk about our lives over the past week. Derek is busy apartment hunting and preparing for his upcoming surgery. Grayson’s sedentary lifestyle at work has led to some minor back problems. He also offers up some advice and stories from his RA days at UMass Amherst. He also enlightens us on the dreaded 2038 bug. Vinny’s week involved wedding planning and creating a wedding gift registry, very fun stuff! He also may have been ridiculed at a Boston Starbucks over a certain drink.

In the second half of the episode, Vinny and Grayson are joined by Ted, aka Grayson’s dad! He’s calling us from Austria to talk Austrian politics & history, the future of technology, SpaceX’s StarLink, and the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
